Throwing this one out there, literally! This inocous looking little jump is actually much more demanding than it looks. Would love to get feedback on how effective you think it is!! I’ve been playing with various exercises using kettlebells to develop explosive power and this is similar to a weighted depth jump.

To correctly develop explosive power your first need to load the tendons and muscle with a counter movement to initiate the stretch shortening cycle. Given the pace you’re able swing a kettlebell, it’s a great way to load your legs for explosive jumps. Start light
