Rafael has Cerebral Palsy, he’s in a wheel chair, yet he STILL trains Jiu-Jitsu. This was one of the coolest times of my life with everyone cheering him on. The ending may not be what you expect:)

My student @ct_grappling16 hitting a flying triangle on the extremely tough @elmonstrobjj. Calvin submitted everyone less than 2 minutes in both the @ibjjf Nationals and No Gi Pans purple belt division. I just recently promoted him to brown, you can expect him to do the same. @oceancountybjj

I grew up being in many fist fights, in fact, the first time I got my lip busted I was 4 from my 7 year old neighbor. The fighting literally never stopped. 🤣 I am much more comfortable on my feet throwing punches than I am on the ground believe it or not. However, my kicks were the weakest part of my game. (I know I still have lots of work to do) I am thankful for my friend and student @coachmeals for always helping me to become better. I have lots of work to do, but for 230 lbs I feel my speed and power is just as good as anyone. Also a big thanks to @j_brisk for all his help during his free time.

As not everyone wants to see you succeed. In this video I share how one of the closest people to me at the time, basically mocked my dream of owning my own Academy. Thankfully I didn’t listen! p.s. it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. You CAN do it.

I’d rather see a closed door fight now or an mma fight in @onechampionship. This is way beyond a grappling match. Literally, they can’t settle this grappling.
