My 15 year old orange belt in the women’s blue belt division. In this dominant performance her opponent went for a heel hook, which is absolutely illegal in all gi divisions. However, the woman did not do it maliciously and was extremely apologetic. I asked the ref to allow them to continue the match. My team and students want real wins, not weak ass victories from the opponent being disqualified.
This world can be cold and lonely. We all want to be comfortable, we strive for a life of comfort. Yet the irony of this sentiment is in order to achieve great comfort, we first must suffer greatly. Make a bed in hell and still lay under the covers, because the heat that hell brings is nothing more than a short lived heat storm. Learn to endure.
When someone is bringing heavy top pressure and tripoding, sometimes the top knee shield simply isn’t enough. We need more relief and space to reframe, that is when the bottom leg comes into play. Give it a try!!! Also there is an oma plata added:) link in bio for more!
Check the link in @thejamiekilstein and @because_jitsu bio to listen!Consequence is a rarity now a days. I stay in my lane, respect other’s, and expect the same in return.
Kimura is king. In my opinion the kimura is the most versatile submission which leads into so many dominant positions. Latest kimura instructional is in bio link. @bjj.fanatics
Tears fill up my eyes everytime I watch it. When I’m not around my children a few days for a seminar I legit get depressed, I can’t imagine months.

Responsibility is never an obligation but a privilege. Own it and never forget. #imnotcryingyourecrying
Coming soon, Kimura domination. The kimura has been a staple in my game since blue belt. In my opinion the kimura is the most versatile submission. It’s a submission that can also lead into multiple dominant positions, while also helping you escape multiple bad positions. I focus not only on the techniques in this new instructional, but also the concepts behind them.
