The Nearside Underhook #HalfGuardPass shuts down almost all #HalfGuardSweeps. These are 2 variations to get to #SideControl or #KesaGatame
Against a standing passer, many guard players will opt to sit up and attack the passer’s lead leg.
Here, I show three options on how to nullify the guard and submit the guard player.

Quarter guard can happen in many ways. Two most common occurrences are in the transition when opponent is escaping from mount or when your mid pass and they’re holding off for dear life.
Regardless, if you find yourself in the situation, this is a good pass to use.
