Tye Ruotolo is the youngest IBJJF world champion of all time and the reigning ONE Championship welterweight submission grappling world champion. He is one of the most successful American Jiu-Jitsu competitors of his generation and he’s currently preparing to defend his ONE title against Dante Leon at ONE Fight Night 31.
Jits Magazine spoke Tye about growing up as a Jiu-Jitsu child prodigy and how beneficial it was to have his brother Kade training with him. He also spoke reflected on his career with ONE Championship, talking about his toughest match so far and his next match against Dante Leon. Tye also shared the extent of the injury he suffered at CJI and his plans for an MMA career.
