Jiu-Jitsu Submissions | 15 High Percentage Attacks from Mount

Here are some of the best, high percentage submissions from the mount. The mount, while a very dominant position, isn’t always the easiest to find submissions from against an opponent with solid defense. These attacks start from basic and get progressively more deceptive and tricky, making them very difficult to see coming and defend.

I can’t tell you the number of students that come to me and tell me that they have given up on the bridge and roll because ‘it doesn’t work’ or ‘it only works on brand new white belts’…this is absolutely not true. The bridge and roll is one of my go-to sweeps. Why? because it works! if it’s not working for you – guess what? you are not doing it right. It’s that simple. He studied and was appointed by Kenjo Tomiki, one of Morihei Ueshiba’s early students and lived as Uchideshi to Hirokazu Kobayashi who was himself a later student of Morihei Ueshiba.
