Today and tomorrow my FOLDING PASS INSTRUCTIONAL is on DAILY DEAL on @bjj.fanatics .
So because of that I am sharing a little bit of this instructional with you all.
The Folding Pass System is in my opinion, the best way to pass any kind of guard, you just need to learn how to use your whole body weight correctly in the right spot, after that you will force your opponent to react and makes mistakes, it’s a perfect way to take the opponent’s energy away because he will have to make a lot of effort to defend it.
Here is this video I’m showing how I like to get there passing the DLR guard.

In this Highlight @ibjjf gathered some of my best moments from the first time I competed as a Black Belt in the 2011 Pan Ams until the last 2019 World Championship.
There were many battles, joys, sadness and unforgettable moments that I had lived over the years on these mats.
Thank you very much to everyone who took part in this, be it fighting against me, helping me to win each one of these titles or cheering for me.

Assistindo o Campeonato Panamericano de Jiu Jitsu @ibjjf esse final de semana me fez lembrar das vezes que lutei essa competição, lutei de 2010 como faixa marrom e depois de 2011 a 2013 como Faixa Preta, na qual conquistei 5 medalhas de ouro.
Eu sempre gostava de lutar esse campeonato como um aquecimento para o mundial e para saber como estava o meu nível técnico.
Mas em 2013 decidi que aquela seria minha última vez lutando esse campeonato e tive a oportunidade de fazer essa grande luta contra o @galvaobjj na final do Absoluto.
Foi um prazer poder fazer uma guerra dessa contra um cara como o André. Máximo Respeito pra esse cara.
Para quem não assistiu essa luta, ta aí a oportunidade de assistir um lutão.

Watching the Pan Ams Jiu Jitsu Championship this weekend reminded me of the times I fought this competition, I fought from 2010 as a brown belt and after 2011 to 2013 as a black belt, in which I won 5 gold medals.
I always liked to fight this championship as a warm-up for the worlds championship and to know how I was at my technical level.
But in 2013 I decided that it would be my last time fighting this competition and I had the opportunity to make this great fight against @galvaobjj in the final of the Absolute.
It was a pleasure to be able to battle against a guy like André. Much respect for this guy.
For those who did not watch this fight, there is the opportunity to watch a fight in this video.

Some people don’t know but my favorite submission is the Armbar, during my career that was the submission I used the most, from both top and bottom position.
That’s why I decided to do an Instructional with @bjj.fanatics just about my Arm Locks from every position possible.
