Being able to take someone down from the clinch can be INVALUABLE. And as @islam_makhachev showed us, simple and effective Judo throws can be applied at the highest level when done correctly.

🥋🇺🇸 This interview was taken at the prestigious 2016 Paris Grand Slam, at the start of this Olympic quad. Hard to believe this was almost 5 years ago. So many ups and downs within this Olympic cycle that would have been impossible to foresee ranging from my precious baby daughter Baylee being born, Jack Hatton’s disastrous death and the uncertainty of an Olympic games even happening due to the global pandemic and Covid-19.
