BJJ black. belt Jon Thomas shows you one high percentage way to do the triangle choke from the open guard. In this technique he uses a collar sleeve grip and off-balances his opponent first (using the foot on the biceps position) before finishing the triangle choke. Near Leg Tai Otoshi is a good technique to use against a bent-over opponent. It’s a great throw as well as transition to a pin or submission technique.
