About FUJI Sports:
FUJI Sports (together with Hatashita Sports) was founded by Frank Hatashita, 8th Dan. Hatashita Sensei was Vice-President of the IJF (International Judo Federation), and President of the Pan American Judo Federation, among other positions including an IJF referee, and owner of many dojo and affiliates. He was instrumental in lobbying to get Judo into the Olympics. His sense of knowing what was most important in martial arts was second to none; and, anyone that knew him would attest to that.
To this day, FUJI Sports produces only the highest quality products at the best possible prices with the careful eye and passion of two leaders in the industry: Lia Hatashita and Jimmy Pedro. Jimmy, a 4-time Olympian, 2 x Olympic Medallist, World Judo Champion and most recently coach to Olympians including gold medallist, Kayla Harrison, brings an astounding amount of knowledge to the company and wants only the best for athletes, and anyone who commits themselves to learning a martial art.

Jiu-Jitsu Takedowns for People Who Suck at Takedowns
These are some takedowns that I personally feel don’t require you to have a ton of Judo or Wrestling proficiency. I have hit these takedowns on people that have much better takedown ability than I do, but because of the nature of how these are set up and executed, they are difficult to stop.
It should go without saying that these are obviously for a sportive context, but there are elements as always that are applicable to beyond just sport competition.
Please subscribe, like and share and look for more of these to come! And turn on notifications for my channel to be notified when I upload a new video (usually every Tuesday, but sometimes more frequently)
Thanks!

Josiah Collier shows a legitamate De-ashi-barai.
Josiah Collier shows a legitamate De-ashi-barai. This is one of the most difficult throws to master in the syllabus, but Si makes it look easy. Listen to the sound of Nik’s foot sweep out from under him as he goes completely airborn…that’s one indication that Nik did not jump into the throw. The speed and sound of the impact is another indication that the sweep is legit! Special thanks to our sponsors 87Eleven Action Design! The temperature during filming was 20 degrees, so a big thanks to Nik and Si for taking a few seconds to go outside and show us this beautiful technique!
