At the end of the day we have all lost matches and we have all been thrown. Some of you fear making mistakes so much that it actually holds you back from winning. You will never win if you never compete! You have to enjoy winning more than you fear losing if you want to be successful in this world.

Juji Gatame (Cross-body Armlock) has many applications and variations and in this video, Sean Daugherty and Derrick Darling show how to use the “Scythe” application in the basic form. We are showing this in a no gi situation, but all of these skills can be done in a Judo, Jujitsu or Sambo uniform as well.
