Toe holds are supposed to injure the foot, right? Or even the ankle… but in this video, I show how I sustained a knee injury from a toe hold in competition year ago, from a toe hold I failed to defend in a timely manner. Dr Carlos Berio of BJJ Physio points out some details of why this occurred, and over on the BJJ Physio channel, he explains HOW it happened and WHY it hurt. Be sure to check out these videos as they come, and obviously head over to his channel to see the continuation of the discussion. Like to his video is at the end of this one so watch til the end.
HUGE shoutout to BJJ Physio for doing these collaborations & to MUSA Visual Media for the amazing filming and editing. Stay tuned for more of these collaborations over the next few weeks! The link for the medical breakdown of this rolling kimura is at the end of this video.
