Sebastian Attard talks about his IBJJF suspension and answers whether or not he will ever compete for them again.
Sebastian Attard is one of the top Jiu-Jitsu competitors to come out of Australia in recent years. He is both a Who’s Number One and Professional Grappling Federation veteran, and he’s currently preparing for a title-fight with Izaak Michell at Subversion: Paradigm.
Jits Magazine spoke to Sebastian first about the infamous middle-finger incident at the IBJJF No Gi World Championship that resulted in him being banned from IBJJF competition for one year. Sebastian also shared his experience competing around Australia and at PGF, along with some insight into his preparation for the upcoming match with ADCC veteran Michell.

Elisabeth Clay won the IBJJF No Gi Pan Championship and the IBJJF No Gi World Championship just months after having her first child, and she discusses that return to competition.
Four-time IBJJF no gi world champion Elisabeth Clay talks about dealing with the pressure of competing at an elite level as a teenager, and keeping the underdog mentality.
Elisabeth Clay is a four-time IBJJF no gi world champion and a six-time IBJJF no gi pan champion who first burst on to the scene by winning ADCC Trials at just 16 years old. Elisabeth is currently preparing for a trilogy match with Brianna Ste-Marie at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 10.
Jits Magazine spoke to Elisabeth about her upcoming match with Brianna and she reflected on their previous two meetings. She also shed some light on how she managed to make a return to elite competition less than 3 months after welcoming her first child, and spoke about the beginning of her Jiu-Jitsu journey in Alaska.

Maggie Grindatti Lira dominated at colored belt and won the IBJJF World Championship in both gi and no gi at blue, purple, and brown belt. She shared the struggles that she had when she first began competing at black belt.
Pat Downey discusses his upcoming appearance at the IBJJF no gi world championship at blue belt, and his plans to rise up the BJJ ranks.
Pat Downey is an NCAA Division I All-American and a US Open National champion in wrestling before he transitioned to other combat sports. Pat is a Bellator MMA veteran and he has recently started to invest more time into his professional Jiu-Jitsu career, including an appearance at the inaugural Craig Jones Invitational. Pat is also currently preparing to compete at the IBJJF no gi world championship as a BJJ blue belt.
