In an earlier video, much earlier. I discussed various awesome techniques to stop your training partners passing your guard. Each one of them works incredibly well. One of those was using ‘stiff arms’ – this means locking your arms out so that it is ‘structure’ not ‘muscle’ that is holding back your opponent. Believe me – it’s massively powerful. Ok, but like everything in Jiu-Jitsu – there are counters, and counters to your counters. And so it is with this move. Now if your training partner has watched my ‘guard retention’ series. You will need to watch this to the end. I know you guys will love it. Give it a try on the mat guys and let me know how you go…
