Double kouchi- it’s only possible when you 1st get your opponents weight moving from the toes to the heels. At any point in a match you must be able to tell where your opponents weight is. If when In the Seated vs standing position it is leaning forward on to the toes, pull them forward on to you. If their weight is leaning back on to the heels, push them backwards. Here, you see this clear dynamic. I utilize pulling grips on the upper body to elicit a pull back reaction. If my opponent didn’t pull away it would have been easy to pull him into ashi garami. Since he did pull away it was an easy thing to get his weight moving backwards with double kouchi and follow up into a double leg.
Shelfing vs pinning- in general, when you shelf an arm from side control you will be moving towards mount, and when you pin an arm you will generally be moving towards various submissions. An easy dilemma game to play is one where you threaten a pin and a shelf simultaneously until you have a break through, achieving one or the other and advance through positional hierarchy or finish with a submission.

Tim wins his 1st tournament ever and already talking about competing for “the right price” 😂. Yea I did submit kaynan when he was young, without leg locks. I also beat the fuck out of him so bad for a week straight that he signed a release saying we could release the footage and then went back on his word after the week of beatings and said we couldn’t release… oh, and I could have rematched adcc world champ kaynan in the no gi worlds absolute, but he didn’t sign up, quit after his division, and the adcc absolute… but oh wait, he got heel hooked immediately by the guy who lost 1st round in the 77kg division😂😂😂. I also could have rematched you in the absolute, if you didn’t lose to the guy who got beat by a blue belt the day before 😂. What planet are we on right now? I can’t even take this seriously anymore. Dj Jackson? I’ve been trying for idk how long to get a match with dj. In fact, maybe we should do that match and a match with you back to back on the same night? Derrick Holmes beat be twice at white belt too, let’s throw him in there same night 😂😂😂😂
Here, the man with the IQ of a frog, tries to teach a body lock pass on a supine opponent. It seems to never have occurred to him that if the opponents back is on the floor, it’s impossible to lock your hands underneath them. So instead, he just just asks his opponent to unrealistically sit up for absolutely 0 reason while playing a supine guard so his back is exposed off the floor. 😂 I’ll take “moves that’ll never work for 100, Alex”. Good news though, I have body locks that will actually work In my passing instructional, and am coming out with a body lock specific study soon. Moves that will work on someone who is not a compete moron 😂
