2014 west coast ADCC trials. I was 185 lbs in the 88kg division, 18 years old, and a new purple belt. Here, i won my semi finals match against James Brasco (before losing to mike perez in the finals) with a basic pinch head lock/sumi gaeshi combo. Had he pushed back into me (the most common reaction) it would have prompted a switch to everyones favorite, the shoulder crunch sumi gaeshi😃.

Im scared… the guy who has been trying to get a match with andre… for SIX years in a row. This guys so full of shit that i can smell him from brazil. Fun fact- adcc superfight, which hes done at the same, set price, 4 times in a row, is 40k. He wants 1 million dollars to compete against me. So andre wants a 25x pay increase from his previous match against a guy who beat me twice… imagine that. Not to mention, hes too dumb to realize that everyone is there to see me. The people who made the 2019 adcc forgot to even put him on it in the beginning 😭. thats how fucking boring he is. I bring in the money for streaming services so if anyone should demand a pay increase, it should be me, and ive offered to fight him for charity, with all proceeds going to a kids hospital in brazil, and he said no… thats the difference between me and him. Ill fight him for free at the drop of a dime, because im rich, competing is the smallest part of my income, and for me, its about legacy. Andre wants 25x his last paycheck to even step on the mat… 25x

Throw back to when i won a local black belt absolute division (6 matches) when i was 180 lbs and 18 years old (purplebl belt) with a 100% sub rate. Big Gord saw it, you saw it, the haters saw it, and now i can finally stop listening to morons say “you couldn’t even beat a (insert belt color) in the gi”. Hate to break it to you, but your skills dont completely dissappear depending on your outfit that day.
