A recounter is a counter to a counter. This is a useful term to know when searching for videos on Jitseasy. If you ever have difficulty with a technique or your opponents seem to thwart or counter your move, try looking up your move as a recounter and see what comes up.

Going North South is a strong move and is strong tactic from Judo. This lapelk variation is really effective for holding a person down flat on their back including BIG dudes assuming you can get them there. Once they are pinned this submission is like spearing fish in a barrel.
