I interviewed my son spontaneously. He is a solid grey belt, 9 and I’m proud to say he is very smart!

He earns straight A’s, is in Gifted & Talented and loves to fish and skateboard as well!

Armbar class progression

I had 6 bigger kids who weee not brand spanking new so we got an ab workout and drilled a ton!!

Warmup
2 min drills of Swinging Armbars, each
-repeat
-40 Swinging Armbars to the tap
-40 Cross Grip Armbars to the tap
-Intro to Guard Pulling Armbars and soon Flying Armbars
-8 minutes positional fighting from Guard
-3 rounds comp rounds with point to prep for AGF
