Attack Style Passing typically refers to threatening a submission in order to pass the guard. Sometimes this is higher risk than other times, but the effectiveness of this idea comes from the necessary response of the guard player creating space or opportunity in their reaction, allowing you to pass, potentially with a submission already working. Here are some of my favorite examples.
00 – 0:42: Intro
43 – 2:12: Diving Kimura Trap
13 – 3:29: Front Headlock to Anaconda
30 – 4:28: Front Headlock to Darce
29 – 5:43: “Flying” Triangle
52 – 6:53: “Flying” Arm Bar
54 – 7:57: Front Headlock to Back Take
58 – 9:09: Arm Drag to Back Take
10 – 10:31: Diving Toe Hold
32 – 11:48: Ham Sandwich
