Brianna Ste-Marie talks about her experience competing under Combat Jiu-Jitsu rules at Medusa 1, and whether or not she would do it again.
Chris Wojcik shares an inside perspective on the difference between competition opportunities in gi and no gi BJJ.
Ryan Aitken is a two-time Combat Jiu-Jitsu middleweight world champion and the reigning EBI absolute champion, but he most recently won PGF World Season 7 at light-heavyweight. Ryan is also a 10th Planet black belt and an ADCC veteran, with an upcoming match with Gabriel Almeida at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 9.
Jits Magazine spoke to Ryan about his journey up to winning his first CJJ world title, and how he was able win the title for a second time. We also spoke about both of his incredible performances at EBI 21: The Absolutes and PGF World Season 7, along with his tactical approach to EBI overtime. Ryan then reviewed his matches from ADCC 2024 and shared the lessons he’s learned, along with his plans for the future.
