Countering the SINGLE LEG Takedown Into the KIMURA Trap!
The single leg takedown is a great takedown technqiue and maybe the most used in grappling. But there are a number of great counters and this particular one places you into a fantastic kill position. These 3 rules of thumb for the loop choke have significantly made my attack better. If you understand them, not only will it give you better success with finishing the choke, but you’ll also start to see more opportunities for setting it up.
