Goodbye M4, Hello M5!👴🏼🫡 Today I competed in my last tournament as a Master 4 and took first place at the @ibjjf Fort Lauderdale International Open. Won the first match by triangle and the finals by points 11×0 (and yes, I forgot to record the match🤦🏽‍♂️). Thank you, Marcelo Pereira, for the coaching!🙌

This is mental mistake number 13 on our list of the Top 30 Mental Mistakes Athletes Make: Settling for the result before the competition is over.

In this lesson, we will explore how to avoid this mistake and maintain a mindset of excellence until the very last second of each competition. It’s not enough to just get close; the focus should be on achieving your true goal without losing momentum.
