A few years ago we showed a defense to the Donald Trump handshake. Someone asked us to show how to defend the Joe Biden hair sniff. This is an old self defense technique that is specifically designed for a 2 handed neck grab from behind that will do the job.

One of my American students (and one of the few people I’ve promoted to Purple Belt), Isaiah Monroe, fought recently on the UFC FightPass CFFC Show.

He uses the Arm-In Guillotine to control the fight and get it to where he can finish the fight.

I will soon cover my breakdown on his use of it soon (Isaiah was one of my assistants in my Guillotine Code DVD).

Isaiah also very kindly gives me a shoutout in his post fight interview.

When rolling for the Crucifix there’s forward or backwards. There is also the importance of trapping their arm. Here I show you how to fundamentally roll a Turtle over! Lol

Having a powerful and versatile guard in jiu-jitsu is a necessity, and without the ability to retain that guard and prevent people from passing it, you won’t have very much success with sweeps or submissions.
