In this video #1 Ranked Middle Heavy BJJ Fighter Lucas ‘Hulk’ Barbosa trains for his upcoming No Gi Superfight at the Spyder Invitational in Korea, against Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum. Lucas trains under Andre Galvao at Atos gym in San Diego but recently travelled to Phuket, Thailand to train at the World renowned gym Tiger Muay Thai to finish his preparation for Werdum.

The “Parachute” is a deceptively effective back attack counter. I first saw this when Rener Gracie rolled with The Korean Zombie at a seminar and it worked awesome. I’ve been playing with it for a long time and this recounter from Ayo is a nice answer.

Going North South is a strong move and is strong tactic from Judo. This lapelk variation is really effective for holding a person down flat on their back including BIG dudes assuming you can get them there. Once they are pinned this submission is like spearing fish in a barrel.
