The Rear Naked Choke is the #1 submission of all time. Early prevention is always key but it’s important to practice late stage defenses as well. Here are some basic options to work on.
In this video, you will learn one uncommon grip variation for turtle guard, and a few of the attack possibilities that flow from it. The first of which is the no-gi clock choke, but there are some many ways to take the back from it as well.
Also the clock choke isn’t the only submission you can set up with it either.
So check it out if you want to be able to attack turtle guard from more angles.
