Today we have a question from Brennan, a self-proclaimed over-scroller on social media.
He said that he continues to come across techniques online (specifically short-form content) and sees stuff that he would like to use for his Jiu-Jitsu training.
However, even though he saves a bunch of these videos, he said he never uses them.
Now he’s a Blue Belt and is trying new stuff out on White Belts & wonders if there are any tips I have for him to use all the short-form techniques he finds scrolling through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu pages.
P.S. This is totally my opinion.
But there tends to be a lack of nuance in many of those short-form videos (not that they’re completely bad), and in today’s video, I’ll explain to Brennan, and the rest of you watching, why I look at short-form techniques as potato chips vs. long form/instructionals/classes as steak.
Hopefully, you found this video helpful.
Thanks for watching.
