In this video, I share a bit of martial philosophy that I picked up from a reading in the ancient Chinese text the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu. I have always been interested in philosophy, and I particularly like learning about some of the old Eastern thinkers.
And before you say anything; yes, I know it’s pronounced “dao” and not “tao” ๐
I have an Alabama public school education so, bear with me from time to time. You’re lucky I can even read. ๐๐ญ๐
And I share a story about a time that Jean Jacques had some basic and beautiful words of wisdom for me. I thought he was only teaching me about guard passing. But turns out, he had a much deeper message than a simple Brazilian Jiu Jitsu lesson.
