I revived this question on my Instagram. He stated “I can get to the technical mount but I feel I am so tall I can’t keep control. Then when I go to the back I lose it. Please help!”
i am here to help! Here is how I like to take the back from the perfect mount. It is important as a taller grappler to learn when to compact and when to be long. The perfect mount is a time to compact and stay tight on your opponent. If not than you will lose the position.
