Many moons ago, I learned these two near side armbars from Steve Bowers and James Booth, and they have served me well. Give them a try.
The Shotgun Armbar is one of the quickest, tightest, and most dangerous Armbars in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
It’s usually performed from the Knee on Belly position, when your opponent starts pushing you away to relieve the pressure of that uncomfortable BJJ position.
Please be careful when doing this Armbar… you can definitely hurt your partner if you are not able to control your body properly… so please pay attention to the safety instructions in the video.
