Jiu-Jitsu Escape | Side Control Escape Into Darce Choke
One of my favorite side control escapes, because of how useful it is and how many back-up plans exist in the sequence, this escape can also lead you directly into a couple of different potential submission opportunities. My favorite thing if I hit this escape is to look for the Darce choke. Let me know what you think!

Sneaky Jiu-Jitsu Submission Setups – featuring Mike Pyle

This Americana and Arm Triangle are pretty high percentage from this position. Let me know what you think, and be sure to give credit to Mike when you tap your training partners or opponents in competition with these!

Arm & Head Triangle from the Top Mount
Simple arm & head triangle from the top mount. A favorite submission used by Denilson Pimenta. Note the elevated posture which might raise some observer’s eyebrows. This is to create more pressure on the bottom guys neck. You have to try it to understand this concept.
