Some of my takeaways:
-In confined space (like a hallway) you will get cut significantly if you remain standing.
-Running away temporarily prevents you from getting cut but it obviously does not stop the threat.
-You can get off the X by changing your level if you can’t move laterally.
-When I shot from my back using my feet as wedges I would typically get at least two (sometimes 3) shots to the upper chest/neck/face for every cut. Sometimes I was not cut at all.
-Performing a traditional #jiujitsu / #judo break fall by using the hands to slap the mats may give you a training scar. Sgt @dongulla spoke on this being particularly problematic when you have a gun in your hand. Breakfalls can be done effectively without using your arms.
-A front kick or teep (for me) still resulted in getting cut due to my short legs 😂.
No matter what you do this is still a crappy situation. Huge mahalo to @kai_ozeki and @shaan_brar for letting me troubleshoot this. 🙏🏽🥋🚔🤙🏽
