In this BJJ Match Breakdown video a friend of mine from way back in the day competes as a Blue Belt in a BJJ competition.
I originally met this guy playing online video games when I was a teenager.
Since then, we’ve kept in touch a bit here and there. And it was cool that he started training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu a few years back.
He sent me some videos of his matches and asked if I would break them down and we decided to make it into a video for the Chewjitsu channel.
During the videos, you’ll see 2 of his BJJ matches as a Blue Belt.
He does a lot right! But for the sake of helping. I wanted to point out some of the things I think might be helpful for him to work on.
Identifying mistakes or missed opportunities was always useful for me as a Brazilian Jiujitsu competitor.
If this ends up being something that people enjoy I may consider doing it more often.
