The “lumberjack Sweep” is one of the very first sweeps that I teach my students. It is a very simple but effective sweep. You see it hit a lot in low level competition and sometimes in high level as well.
A lot of people make the simple mistake of backing into the sweep rather than kicking your foot out away from the grip. This is a simple but mind blowing game changing technique.
