We get it already sheesh
He would get wiped today but he's a pioneer
I completely agree with Chael
Good video, but Chale is only partially right. If you asked 9 of 10 BJJ black belts if they wanted to represent their art and instructor by doing exactly what they had been doing for years; taking on all who walked in the academy door, they would say yes. BJJ/Gracie Jiu-jitsu had the secret. For Royce, the UFC/tournament was nothing new. Same old thing just a bigger scale. Royce was most influential in MMA, but only by default. Any black belt from that era would have beat the tomato cans Royce fought. He was in the right place at the right time. He was a terrible fighter, but very technical Gracie Jiu-jitsu fighter.
Hi is not the goat,he is the first to do it.the goat is his brother rickson
He is to jiu jitsu what bruce lee was to kung fu. Everybody started bjj because of him
One of the most significant / important of all time, but not the GOAT.
