Rolling w/ My 11 year old daughter – 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu – Brandon Mccaghren

I feel really blessed and happy that I get to train with my children. It’s a huge part of our family life. We all train!

Logan is only 11, but she really enjoys Jiu Jitsu, and she has been training 2 or 3 times a week since she was 3 years old.

We don’t make her or her brother compete or train hard, we just make them come to class. We just keep our kids in the gym, and try to make it fun. I figure they will learn Jiu Jitsu whether they mean to or not. Like the old saying goes,

“If you hang around the barber shop long enough, you’re bound to get a haircut.”
