Another great use of the reverse kimura grip is the sneaky arm drag. It’s probably your shortest arm drag, as the opponents arm is already crossed over, and their back is already halfway exposed. So the amount of distance you have to cover is really small making it easier than a standard arm drag.
What’s also great about this drag is that there’s no counter arm drag, as you are too low to be redragged. For the long limbed people, you can sometimes get a body triangle right off the arm drag. But if you’re shorter and stubbier like me, lol, then you need to do a proper back take by using the same footwork as you would with a technical standup to escape your hips.
