Over Hook Guard Omoplata

If your Over Hook Guard is getting stalemated, we can open up the position by pushing their head away – setting up a nice omoplata.

While the omoplata can be a nice submission, it’s not the highest percentage move, especially in MMA. For that reason, we should always be prepared to transition and ideally take top position if they escape.
