throughout our whole career we have been great advocates of technical development. early on we start to expose our passion for studying jiu jitsu and how much it effected our approach in training and our results in competition. I remember we would always stay on the mat after class and come up with solutions for problems we were having in sparring. we had no idea how much impact those moments were having in the level of professors we became and certainly it prepared us to teach hundreds of seminars all over the world. when we were blue belts juveniles our professor would always tell us that different champions would be crowned every year, and the newest champion would always be the one people would pay the most attention UNLESS we were able to develop skills the current champion did not have and create an impact much bigger than a successful competition run. we had no idea of what he was talking about at that time, but luckily our love for jiu jitsu and our passion for learning and studying gave us the ability to meet his expectations. in our classes we focus on expanding the vision and creating a stronger sensibility in the techniques, because theres nothing more powerful in jiu jitsu than a great understand of the techniques and possibilities.
