technical solution for a position that is normally lost. getting an upper body grip is difficult against people that play lasso and understand how to maintain the distance on the bottom. threatening the guard with the leg drag and switching sides with a strong grip on the collar is an answer that can be studied and practiced. having great mobility will always be important, but having a very high technical understanding of jiu jitsu is the difference between doing good and great.
