Biggest problem with bjj… Size and weight MATTER… Good for some self defense but it's counter productive. A bjj 3rd degree black belt. 145 lbs vs a. Bjj 3rd degree black belt that's 200lbs. The big person will win. A 115lb female black belt in bjj vs a 200lbs man swinging wild at her… Chances are she will lose. Not taking anything away from the style because I feel it's necessary to learn grappling and submission. But people walking around like it's the only style of M.A. … When it's not.
