Chuck Palahniuk is a novelist and freelance journalist, who describes his work as “transgressional” fiction. He is the author of the award-winning novel Fight Club, Choke, Lullaby, and many others.
This was creepy, uncomfortable, and wonderful This guy looks/acts like what I imagine a psychic interdimensional vampire recruiter for the Pizzagate place looks/acts like great podcast, btw I've jerked off in a lot of pools but have never prolapsed so I'm a survivor.
Whenever im trying to write a song and I get stuck I literally smoke enough weed that I know will get me super paranoid and i jot down all the crazy shit that pops into my head and as I come down and my head starts getting clearer i start messing with everything I wrote down
Speaking of his mother passing and the relief he had from it, I shared a similar sigh of relief when my grandfather passed in 2003. My mom and grandmother were doing all they could around the clock to help him as he just steadily withered in his last year of life. He was diagnosed with cancer, did all the treatments and fought like hell. They let him take a break but the cancer had spread and was terminal. And I saw it. He tried and tried, I could tell. But one day, I could just see it in his eyes that he was ready to go. He didn't want to fight anymore.
December will mark 15 years since his passing, and not for one minute, do I feel bad for knowing that relief, that we didn't have to work around the clock trying to keep him alive. That there was relief that he wasn't suffering anymore.
What a pompous fool. Not nearly as perceptive and clever as he thinks he is. I always roll my eyes at this bullshit about "men don't have good role models in literature." Give me a break.

Finally. Now Chuck needs to get back to writing good books.
