Joe Rogan Experience #1154 – Doug Duren & Bryan Richards
Doug Duren is a passionate hunter, farmer, land manager and conservationist. Bryan Richards is the CWD project leader for the U.S. Geological Survey’s National Wildlife Health Center.
Great episode, Joe. I’m in northwest lower Michigan and deer season is a big part of our economy. I’m not a hunter but this topic and the science behind it was fascinating…and concerning.
To those that have mocked me. Call me stupid and said that Prions was not a problem… ???? Thank you Joe!!! Bravo fellas thank you so much for bringing this topic to the table! I’ve been following Prions disease for years…, my husband hunts and everything I combed through… especially the plant types; corn, Alfalfa, tomatoes and wheat grasses, Prions can transfer to the plant. Sorry but choke on that vegans.
This story makes so much sense within the John Titor story of time travel!!!! I’m shocked not many have put validity to his story of Prions being rampant and killing many.
It's concerning since Canada and Germany did some tests with macaques and some of the macaques were infected by eating cwd tainted deer meat even when some of the deer meat were from asymptomatic deer while others were infected by eating brain tissue and injection of the infectious material into their brains. Since monkeys and humans do share diseases that raises some concerns for people that hunt deer and the agriculture that the deer can infect since the prions can bind to the plants we grow and farm.
I fell asleep three times listening to these guys. Hey man, who gives a fuck. Let Mother Nature take its course. There are too many deer in the world anyways.
Why give a placebo to animals? What are they, gonna say “yeah I think I’m starting to feel better”? I thought placebo only works if the person KNOWS they have taken medication, but doesn’t know that it has nothing in it
1:30:10 This is the worst thing about Wisconsin. The southern part of the state is clueless beyond reason about the Northern part. YES, there are Moose in Wisconsin, yes there are many. They are not rare, or isolated incidents. They live up here.

Why in the hell would people give this video a thumbs down ?
Audio levels still need to be taken care of. Many times I can barely hear the guests while Joe's face sits a centimeter from the microphone.
