I’m going to brag on my sister Sadie for a minute. A product of the public school system, she excelled in all things academically and musically. By the time she was in the 9th grade she was one of the best oboists in the state. She was also a #SterlingScholar finalist, student body president at @aieahigh, #valedictorian, college graduate with honors at @uhmanoanews, medical student at @creighton1878, medical resident, pediatrician at @kapiolanimedctr, wife and also a great mom!
She dabbled in skating when we were kids too and for fun, she also taught herself how to play the #trombone. Anything she did, she worked on and eventually excelled at.
For fun, she also played #piano and #ukulele and growing up I had the privilege of being able to listen to her play pieces like this on a daily basis. Being the older sibling it used to bug me that I was known as “Sadie’s brother” when we were growing up, but looking back at all of her accomplishments, it totally makes sense. 👏🏽🎵🤙🏽 #aiea #oahugrown
