I saw @bigscboy’s slam on @tonyhawk’s vert ramp and it gave me a #flashback to mine at the @bellevueskatepark. The ramp was only 9’ and I’m not 300lbs, but it was as unpleasant as it looked!
I slammed, got up, was told I’d “be fine” by @moormansmenu, tried again, and slammed again! 😂😂 My entire left side was bruised but I never missed work and even ran some relay races at the Boys & Girls Club the next day. 9 months later with some great coaching and encouragement from the guys, I finally got it.
