How do you stay in shape when you travel?
————————————————————
We can’t always make it to a #bjj class, but we can almost always get out and move. The tendency can be to go for a super intense workout, but if our bodies have been stagnant for hours and hours, going from 0-100 may do more harm than good. You have loads of lower intensity options; yoga, some slow crawling, etc, but my favourite and the most accessible for nearly everyone is walking PLUS doing some breathing exercises. Today I did some of the @oxygenadvantage breathing exercises and got my oxygen saturation down to 90%, while only raising my heart rate to 75bpm. So, I’m getting good ‘training’ in without overtaxing the system and a body that may be already stressed from the demands of travelling…..and IT FEELS GREAT.
