Tight shoulders are an issue for almost everyone who trains jiu-jitsu or even sits at a computer desk at work. This technique is an easy way to improve range of motion, decrease muscle tension, and also improve posture.
Its really easy and quick and can be performed pretty much anywhere.
10-15 repetitions for 1-2 sets will get the shoulders warmed up and decrease stiffness which can lead to better posture and less injuries in jiu-jitsu.
