Fireman’s carry 2 ways adapted for Jiu-Jitsu 🥋🤙 #kataguruma
1- Penetration step fireman’s carry when opponent is moving backwards away from you. Right hand gripping lapel while the left hand grabs the wrist/hand hold. Opponent will many times post and handstand rather than roll or breakfall since the arm is not being controlled. Swim under and through the legs coming out the back door. Extend your lapel grip arm away from you to get their weight off your head and body making their hands stuck to the mat. Scoring a takedown into back control.
2- Great when your opponent is moving backwards away from you. Inside tie-up/tricep grip with right hand, left hand should grip opponents wrist/hand. Penetration slide step to knee change over rotation – taking opponent over the trapped arm. Falling into a side arch extending over and through to side control. Gove these a try!
