Explosive butterfly sweep + clever guillotine setup.
.
I learned this combination many years ago from an instructional of @marcelogarciajiujitsu and I use it ever since.
The butterfly sweep is so explosive and surprising that it’s hard for the opponent to react when you do it. It’s not the most technical, because you don’t get under his center of mass (with a deep under-hook grabbing his waist) and you don’t lay on your shoulder and use proper pull on his shoulder – but the element of surprise, combined with the speed, really makes it a great use for the butterfly hooks.
.
The setup for the guillotine is ever more amazing. When you try to pull your opponent for the butterfly sweep, he puts his weight backwards. Most of the time the sweep is hard to achieve this way because you don’t have proper control, BUT this is this perfect opportunity to launch him backwards (by straightening your legs) and make him collapse forward. The SECRET to this technique is while he is collapsing forward, with no base to lean on, you direct his head (with your neck grip) to the other side, right under your armpit, straight for the guillotine.
.
This is simply an amazing setup and I urge you to try it.

Thank you @marcelogarciajiujitsu for being awesome.
