Dynamic vs. static drilling: @jdenle (currently ranked #2 in CA) and @joe.curtis234 (currently ranked #3 in CA) warm up by going through an egoless dynamic flow-roll. This form of drilling is essential to becoming a high level grappler and wrestler. This type of training allows both participants to see a myriad of positions (both offensive and defensive) with varied resistance – which allows smooth transitions between techniques, thus creating openings that would normally be difficult to recognize when static drilling (I do 3, you do 3 w/ no resistance). Being comfortable in and out of positional dominance and being able work positively through both scenarios will help improve the ability to remain calm in a chaotic exchange and scramble well. These 2 young future D1 athletes make it look easy. @trititans #WrestleJudoJitsu
