Dynamic movement in full uniform is very difficult. Most of us have gear that weighs at least 20lbs / 9kg, and that extra weight adds up fast when you are trying to move quickly. The first time I tried a few rounds of Thai kicks to our heavy bag my core was really sore the next few days. Torso rotation isn’t really inhibited, but getting your hips to whip around for effective strikes is harder and much more tiring. If you notice the momentum made my gun belt twist around even with belt keepers. Good to know beforehand.
